HMAE’s High School Lunar New Year Celebration was recently featured on the front page of the local village newspaper. This marks the second time an HMAE Lunar New Year event has received front-page recognition, following last year’s inaugural celebration held at the local library. The coverage reflects not only the success of the event but also the community’s strong recognition of HMAE’s ongoing efforts in promoting cultural exchange and heritage preservation.

Notably, many of the students featured in the newspaper coverage came from neighboring communities rather than residing in Hinsdale. They reached out to HMAE requesting assistance in collecting copies of the newspaper issue from the day of the event as keepsakes. The high school celebration had a meaningful and positive impact on the Central High School community, including the East Asia Club, the Social Science Department, the Red Dragon Band, the Choir, the Theater Crew, and many participating students.
